Evaluation on Portrait - Buildings

I have chosen to take pictures of buildings as the subject is portrait.
I took this photo because the sky looked nice and how the house was on the right hand side of it, it made the picture look better.
The picture focuses on the sky because its bright and it makes this picture stand out, the sky is the main subject but there is also another main subject which is the house and how it is in this picture. If the sky wasn't how it was in this picture I still would of used it because of the house.
I haven't edited this photo because why edit it when the sky looks amazing all ready.
This photo could be improved by blurring out the buildings more.
I asked one of my classmates to tell me what are the good and bad points on this photo. The good points are there are nice variations in colour, they like the way the colours fade into one another. And the bad points are there is not enough view of the sky and it looks like the main focus is on the house and not on the sky. However, they did mention that this photo very slightly follows the rule of thirds.
In the professional photo the house is more in the background so they focus more on the sky.
